Individual Roles

Individual Roles have been described here and also the accountability, this is done in order to maintain transparency and also in order to the project and engineering managers to have an idea of the active risks.  This will be updated after our first meeting in order to maintain clarity about the project.





Project Leader

The Project leader is supposed to take feedback from the Engineering Manager as well as the Systems Managers .

  • The project leader takes the feedback from the engineering manager. 
  • Conduct a Needs analysis for the project. 
  • Holding of the meetings, brainstorming sessions secure acceptance and approval of deliverables from the Project Supervisor.
  • Communication, including status reporting, risk management, escalation of issues that cannot be resolved in the team.
  • In general, making sure the project is delivered on schedule, and within scope.
  • To make sure that the project is completed in minimum time with the best results.

Engineer Manager

The Engineer Manager would be finally reporting to the project leader.

  • Supervising engineers or engineering technologists, project management, providing advice and acting as a resource.
  • Reporting to the project leader about the progress of the project and collection of feedback from the Design engineers and system managers.

Design Engineer

The design engineers will be directly under the Engineer Manager and will report to the engineer manager.

  • The design engineer will be responsible for the designs, more info will be uploaded  based on the project.  

Systems Manager

The Systems manager will be directly under the Engineer Manager and will report to the Engineer manager as well as the Project leader.

  • Plans, organizes and directs activities of work units and staff involved in the systems engineering department; coordinates data processing and computer service activities with  engineer manager and hence further to the design engineers.
  • Consults  to identify data processing requirements; directs assigned staff in the development of new applications.
  • Reviews output, project reports, systems documentation, service requests, and other information to evaluate system performance, systems operations, requirements for new applications, and other requirements; works with staff to design and develop required systems.
  • Reviews and evaluates the technical literature and other information concerning changes in technology; participates in long-range planning to evaluate costs, availability, alternatives and other factors.
  • The Systems Manager will also provide assistance to the systems engineer. 

Systems Engineer

The Systems Engineer will be directly under the Systems Manager, and  play a major role in the Project like .
